Welcome to the registration page for Gallifrey One's Catch 22: Islands of Mystery, also known as Gallifrey 2011, the 2011 North American Doctor Who Celebration convention in Los Angeles.

Important Note: When you register for our convention, you become a "member" and your admission is called a "membership"; this is because conventions are participatory, and there are many things to take part in at the event. (The "membership" concept is standard for fan-run conventions across the US.) You will NOT receive tickets in the mail; instead, you are registering yourself (and/or others you are paying for) for the event, and you simply need to come to the event (preferably with photo ID) to pick up your membership badge. Wear your badge during the weekend for admission to all events and functions of the convention.

You have three options to register as a member of Gallifrey 2011:

• Registration by Mail: Please click here for a handy registration form you can print out, fill out in pen, and mail along with a check or money order payable to GALLIFREY ONE. Once you complete this, you're done! (Note: this form is in PDF format; if you cannot read it, locate and download Adobe Reader or another utility that reads PDF files!)
  
  
• Registration Online via PayPal: Online full-weekend registration is very easy! THIS IS A TWO STEP PROCESS AND YOU MUST COMPLETE BOTH; one involves payment to PayPal, and the second involves returning to our website and filling out an online form with pertinent information. Please follow the online directions below in "Step 1," then when PayPal returns you to our site, continue with "Step 2". Please make sure you return to the site; not doing so creates headaches for us!
  
  
• On-Site Registration: You can wait until you arrive and register at the door for the convention (although you will have to pay the final, full door price of $75). We take cash, check, money order, VISA or MasterCard on site at the convention. Do nothing now; we'll see you on site. Please note that daily memberships (for individual days, not full weekend) are only available on site and not in advance.

IMPORTANT: NO REFUNDS! Gallifrey One now has a strict no-refunds policy. Fan-run conventions like Gallifrey One budget for our expenses every year based on convention pre-registration; therefore, when you register for the convention, the funds you provide are allocated immediately... for things like guest expenses (air travel & hoteling), publications, technical expenses (lighting and sound) and other stuff that makes our event unique (like ribbons, signs and decoration). Offering refunds means we may fall short of our expectations, causing considerable financial concerns. We are also no longer offering one-year membership deferments to the following year except on a case-by-case basis (such as medical issues or emergencies). However, if you are unable to attend, we gladly do allow you to transfer your membership to someone else you know who wants to attend; you must provide your name and the name of the person replacing you, but it's a quick and easy process.

Registration for Gallifrey 2011 is in two steps. Step One concerns processing your payment via PayPal. To add a particular membership as follows, please click on the appropriate icon. You will be able to return to this page to click an additional membership items from the 'shopping cart'. When you are ready to purchase, click on the 'Proceed to Checkout' button on the PayPal page.

NOTE: Daily Registration is ONLY available at the door. Gallifrey One does not pre-sell daily admission for one-day visitors. Instead, visit the Registration Desk of the convention on the day to purchase your one-day admission; rates are $35 for Friday, $40 for Saturday, $35 for Sunday. Note that the cost of two consecutive days equals a full-weekend registration, so if you'd like to attend for two days, we encourage you to pre-register a full weekend pass!

IMPORTANT!  It is vital that when you complete the PayPal transaction, you return to this website for "Step 2". Your browser should automatically take you there when you have finished and confirmed your PayPal registration. Should an accident occur and you not get to the second step page for some reason, please go to the top of this browser window, into your web address bar, and change "registration.php" to "registration2.php" and load that page. (We aren't linking it to avoid automated systems from bypassing this page and sending us email!)
